This Saturday we celebrate the feast of Purim
Picture
This is a time when we commemorate the deliverance of God’s people through the lives of Esther and Mordecai and the destruction of God’s enemies. This is a timely reminder that God is the protector of Israel and He will deliver Israel from all her enemies.
The underlying principle of Purim is found in the Abrahamic Covenant. God promised Abraham :

I will make you a great nation, I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Gen 12:2-3.
In the past, Israel’s enemies have ignored this important principle to their own demise. Pharaoh, Haman, Antiochus Epiphanes, Herod and Hitler are classic examples.
Today, Israel has enemies that still ignore the lessons of history but the Word of God is clear on Israel’s security.

Jer 31:35  This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar-- the LORD Almighty is his name:
Jer 31:36  "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight," declares the LORD, "will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me."

Perth Messianic Assembly is a congregation of Christian and Messianic believers in Yeshua with a heart to bridge the gap between Jew and Gentile. We gather together to praise and worship G-d in the name of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, teaching from the Holy Bible (both the Old and New Testaments), to pray in unity, and enjoy community love for one another. We fully support Israel and stand with Israel in her trials and tribulations.
